2017 Chevrolet Traverse

Meet the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse: a midsize crossover SUV with a little extra room for whatever your life requires.  Whether it's family road trips, after-school activities, outdoor adventures, or just home improvement projects, the Traverse has the space and features to make it all fit and get the most out of your miles.

Styling
The substantial Chevy crossover looks like an SUV from every angle, but the crossover platform means it doesn't necessarily drive like one. For anyone needing minivan practicality, but wanting the styling of an SUV, the 2017 Chevrolet Traverse is the perfect alternative.

Interior
With enough room to accommodate eight, and full-size, plush seats in front and rear, you can be assured everyone will be comfortable.  The second-row bench seat can slide forwards on a track to make getting in and out easier, or can be dropped and replaced by an optional pair of captain's chairs.  With 24.4 cu.-ft. of storage space behind the third-row seat, there's plenty of room for cargo, sports equipment, or grocery bags. The Traverse's command center employs solid, high-quality buttons and switches and an intuitive control layout, to help you focus on your drive.

Power and Fuel Economy
The Traverse has a large footprint, so only a powerful and capable engine under the hood will do, especially when the vehicle is fully loaded. The good news is Chevy has outfitted the Traverse with a 3.6-liter V-6, which puts 281 horsepower and 266 lb.-ft. of torque at your disposal.  This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, and can also be outfitted with an optional All Wheel Drive drivetrain.  An additional available upgrade is the dual exhaust system, which helps increases the power ratings to 288 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft.  A properly equipped Traverse can tow up to 5,200 pounds, which is more than much of the competition.

The Traverse offers a respectable EPA-estimated ratings of 15 MPG in the city, 22 MPG on the highway and 17 combined MPG for both Front and All-Wheel Drive versions.*
