  • Andy King
    Sales Manager

My story began growing up in Old Town Maine until high school when my family moved to the big city of Hermon, Maine.  After graduating as a proud Hermon Hawk, I studied at EMCC and NMCC for my degree in Business Management. I got my first job at MBNA. I loved the culture at MBNA and its focus on community give back. I was trained in the banking and credit world and loved it. Here I grew and traveled all over the state in various positions from Manager to Senior Officer in 2009. Unfortunately, the economy at the time couldn't sustain the business and MBNA is no longer.  After 12 years of ser-vice, I left knowing what made a great company culture. I moved to Etna with the goal to search for a great community based company within one hour of home. In 2010, I found Darling's and began my new career as a salesman at the Value Center.  Four years later, I moved back to the numbers side of the industry as a Finance and Insurance Manager in Ellsworth.

My world outside finance is filled with community and family. I have three incredible older siblings, three nephews two nieces and my mom and dad. One of my sisters and my brother followed in my father's footsteps serving our nation. While my father was an Army man for 20 years, my siblings joined the United States Air Force.  When I'm not with family I spend time giving back to my commu-nity, spending time with my dog, Oddie, golfing, BBQ's, camping with friends and riding my Honda VTX 1800 motorcycle. I'm a proud contributor and supporter of the United Way and regularly donate blood to the American Red Cross. When I need some downtime I'll ride down to High Tide in Bangor and enjoy the view of the river and sounds of the Darling's Waterfront Concerts.

My training in banking, lending and credit is what I want to give back to my customers. I'm a super hero of sorts during the sales process and know how to work with banks and read ever confusing credit reports. Anything involving financing a large purchase can be scary and I pride myself on making sure the customer feels comfortable, gets the best terms for purchase and has an exceptional experience. I like to think Darling's is a bit like the show "Cheers" where everyone knows your name. Whether customer or employee everyone appreciates you and knows your name. I want to earn your business and know your name, if you have any scary numbers questions feel free to reach out, I'm here for you anytime.

  • Harvard Austin
    Sales Manager

The Ellsworth community has known me for a good portion of my life, as I was born and raised here. My work before Darling's included contracting work and eventually a job in the seafood industry. After 20 years of seafood I needed a change and found Darling's in 1995.

1995 was a good year as I found a passion for car sales at Darling's. My passion for cars grew along with my love for the company as I moved to Sales Manager in 2000 at the Ford  location in Bangor. I missed my little city of Ellsworth and moved back as Sales Manager in 2014 at Darling's Automall. In 2016 I moved to Sales Manager with my favorite brand at our Chevrolet dealership. I'm lucky to be a part of the community of Ellsworth that supported me since I was little.

Ellsworth is the place I grew my life with my wonderful wife of 33 years. Our two kids have grown and we now have two cats to take care of. I've always been an advocate for giving back to my com-munity and have served on many organizations throughout the years. I am honored to have served on the Ellsworth Lions Club for over 20 years and the Shriners for over 30 years. When I do have time to relax I enjoy anything outside, including hunting, fishing, boating and camping at Donnells Pond.

Darling's for me is unlike any company in the area. Everyone is treated as family, whether customer or employee. To me this is the difference and why I'm proud to work here, we all deserve to be treat-ed well, just like family. Feel free to reach out to me anytime and you'll be a part of the family, if you aren't already.

  • Ryan Wilson
    Service Manager

I am a Mainer, born in Carmel, Maine. After graduating, one of my first jobs was for Hannaford Su-permarket and then Maine Distributors. In 2007, a friend asked me if I had ever considered working for Darling's Auto Group. I had always enjoyed customer service and took the chance at something new at Darling's Ford/VW/Audi. I began in 2007 as a VW Service Advisor. I did that for five years and then worked as a Ford TSM for approximately three years. After that I was promoted to the as-sistant Service Manager position for Ford/VW/Audi. In 2017, I was given the opportunity to become the Service Manager at Darling's Chevrolet.

Outside the dealership, I still call Carmel home with my wonderful wife Victoria, a daughter Avery and a son, Luke. We love spending time at home grilling or cooking over the open fire in the sum-mer, watching sports, playing yard games, four wheeling, and having friends and family over for game nights. I am sports fanatic and route for all of the local New England teams. My true sports love is basketball of which I coached several local recreational and AAU teams. We also dedicate a lot of time and effort to Anah Shriners. I have been a shriner since 2009. I am part of the Anah SMART team and a member of the Anah Funsters. I participate in many parades and other local events as Scooby Doo. We enjoy raising money for Shrine Hospitals and putting smiles on kids' fac-es!

I love working for Darling's Chevrolet. We are one big service family and we try to give that back to every customer. Family is about trust and care and in a similar way; our daily goal is make a friend with every customer. Vehicle service is more than just a transaction; it is about care and connection with a customer. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Aaron Stevens
    Sales Representative

I was born and raised in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine. After graduation, I took to the slopes working winters at Sugarloaf Mountain and Killington Ski Resort. In the off season I worked at my parents restaurant in Bar Harbor called Bunny's Downeast Restaurant. My customer service skills from both jobs eventually led me Sales Representative at U.S. Cellular in Ellsworth, Maine in 2007.  A much-needed change and a proud introduction to Darling's by a friend led me to start at Darling's in October of 2014.

Ellsworth is where I call home now with my awesome family.  October has been a great month for my family as I married my wife in October of 2015. We added an adopted daughter in 2017 and enjoy our 3 cats Oliver, Penny and Beautrice. We love our family time together and most often can be found at Acadia National Park, hiking, walking and more. When I need some "me" time I love disk golf, watching the Pat's, Celtics, Red Sox or Syracuse University basketball.

I take great pride in how Darling's treats their employees and the great respect they have for their customers. At Darling's we always stand by their customers even after the sale. Feel free to reach out anytime.

Bucksport Born, raised, and proudly stayed.  I went to school at what was then Eastern Maine Technical College, now called Eastern Maine Community College to study Machine Fabrication and Business. I worked at Lemforder fabricating until 2004 when I started my career in the car business. I worked in sales and marketing for the Wolfington Group. I found my work home at Darling's Ellsworth in 2014.

When I am not at work, I live for my family. We are a strong bunch with my beautiful wife Heather, two daughters Lily and Chloe, a son Christian and the coolest grandson Anakin. We also house two cats and a yellow lab. Our support of each other is everything, since 2014 I have never missed a soccer, basketball or baseball game of my son. When we are not cheering on each other, my family and I are found relaxing up to camp. However when I do need some me time I love to hunt and fish.

Darling's is the perfect for my family. They are a company that allows me to balance cheering on my home team and still be flexible at work is incredible.  When I at work I'm proud to cheer on my customers and make them party of the Darling's family. Raised in beautiful Dedham, Maine I am a proud Mainer.  I chose to serve the United States Marine Corps after graduation. The Marines stationed me all over the world including Okinawa Japan, South East Asia and California. During this time, I received my BA in Economics. I served as Private First Class and ended as Sergeant. I lived in California for a bit and came back home to raise my family in Maine. A friend knew I would fit in perfectly at Darling's and so I found my home at Darling's in 2016.

My beautiful wife Erin and I married in 2006. We have two awesome daughters, Abigail and Delilah. Outside the dealership, I spend as much time with my family and our little Dachshund, Tootsie. We enjoy adventuring at our friend's camp in Sebec on Lake Onawa or just hanging at home. I also love to hunt, fish, surf and read history books. I am a proud history buff. If history has taught us anything, it is to be kind to others and give back. In this civic-minded fashion, I am a Lion's Club member, a Local Mason, Marine Corps League Bangor Member and proud volunteer at school.

Being genuine to your fellow man or woman is what I cherish most about Darling's Auto. This town has been kind to me, so with every vehicle it is my responsibility to give back to my community. I truly enjoy taking care of people. There is no greater feeling then walking into work with the people I love doing what I love. Please feel free to reach out anytime.

  • Ken Nason
    Sales Representative

Through the years, Darling's has always been a part of my life. I grew up in Bucksport and started working at Darling's Auto Parts in high school. Just after graduation, I met an incredible co-worker named Cheryl. I could not let this one go, and I married her shortly after. Cheryl stayed at Darling's while I began my adventure working in the food distribution business until 2017 when I began at Friend and Friend in Ellsworth. I needed a change and came back to my roots at Darling's in 2019.

Our family has grown since then to two children, Sarah and Matt, a dog-named Benny and a cat named Lilly. We love our family time, especially with our grandson. My wife and I love traveling to anywhere warm, the Caribbean in particular, or just traveling wherever the road leads us. I also en-joy some me time golfing.

My experiences led me back to Darling's where I could not be happier. I have seen the evolution of the company for over 30 years and could not be more proud. It is a feeling of pride for the commu-nity, which continues to grow every day. My job is a commitment to the customer, and with that, I am proud to support the community. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Nick Smith
    Finance Business Manager

I have always been a Downeaster born and raised in Surry, Maine. After graduation, I attended The University of Maine, Orono studying business.  I began my career in the restaurant industry in the Ellsworth/Bar Harbor area. The opportunity for growth and stability led me to Morrison Chevrolet in late 2009 where I started as a sales representative.  After 8 years of building relationships with customers, learning the car business and sharpening my sales skills, I took a promotion to Business Manager in 2018.

Darling's has been great for my personal and professional life as I met my wonderful wife by selling her a vehicle. We kept in touch after the sale and have not left each other's side since then. Our little family has grown since our marriage in 2016 to two cats, 8 chickens and 3 full fish tanks.  I most en-joy my time outside the office hanging with the wifey. We love traveling to warm places, like the Caribbean, date nights, beach days at Newburry Neck and restaurant hopping.

I love my job and am proud to give back to my customers each day. It is never about the sale at Dar-ling's it is about the customer. My job is more than just the numbers; it is about making sure every customer leaves knowing they are valued from day one.

  • Sandy Salsbury
    Finance Business Manager

For over forty-five years, I have worked, volunteered raised a family and more in the Ellsworth community.  Thirty-two of these years were in the banking industry from 1976 - 2008 starting out as a teller.  Working as a teller was just the beginning as I moved to loans and ended as the VP of Human Resources.  My skills as a banker serviced me well when I started with Morrison's Chevrolet in 2011 as receptionist and eventual Finance Manager at Darling's Chevrolet.

For 40 of those years and counting I have had my amazing husband by my side. We have become a family of two kids, two grand kids, a cat named Crawford, three grand cats and three grand dogs. I have also volunteered for many community organizations, most proudly 17 years as an Ellsworth Lioness. Out of the office, I enjoy me time at Bar Harbor Golf Course and family time at our camp on Beach Hill Pond.

Darling's has been caring for its community since the beginning. It is never about a vehicle, but a person whether an employee or customer. I am proud to work every day giving back to the Ells-worth community, because Darling's cares for me. Feel free to reach out anytime.

  • Paul Fickett
    Sales Representative

I was born a Downeaster raised in Winter Harbor, Maine. My career has given me many adventures working at Maine beer distributors, a brewery, a media company and landscaping. This gave me my big break and experience to work at Darling's in 2019.

I call home to Ellsworth now with my three incredible boys, Jon, Kyle and Liam. Away from the dealership, I spend most of the time hanging with my kids. One of our favorite activities is cheering on our New England sports teams: the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox. I also enjoy some quiet time Fishing, Hiking and Hunting at Eagle Lake.

My goal with every vehicle is to give the best customer service possible. Working at Darling's, I am surrounded by good genuine people who care about each other. This makes it easy to give the same level of respect and kindness to my customers. Feel free to reach out anytime.

  • PJ Davis
    Sales Representative

I am a Mainer raised in Sullivan, Maine. I graduated with sports scholarships to several universities, but decided the pay was better to work in the local fishing industry. In my younger years, I worked as a lobsterman and harvested bloodworms. Needing a change of pace and lifestyle, I followed my second passion for vehicles and started at Darling's Auto Parts in 1982. I changed jobs in 1985 be-coming a Part's Manager at Colwell Diesel. Following my earlier roots, I became a Service Manager in 1987 for Morrison's Chevrolet. They seemed to like me at Morrison's and promoted me to a Sales Representative in 1992. In 2004, Chevrolet named me as one of the top sales representative with 406 happy customers. Darling's Auto Group took the Morrison's name 2012 and I could not be hap-pier. Since then I have met many customers, giving me great pride with every sale.

My pride extends to my community and family in my home of Ellsworth. I love giving back to my community as a local Shriner, Mason and former Board Chamber member. I am lucky enough to have my wonderful wife, Cindy, a Bengal cat named Arrow, a grown son, Chris, and daughter, Steph-anie, and two granddaughters, Kaylie and Paisley who have given me many new adventures. My son an Air Force Staff Sargent has led me on many visits around the world, including Italy. When I am not adventuring with my family, I am at my second home at the Golf Course, my favorite being Bar Harbor Golf Course. My Darling's adventure is still one of my favorite though.

Darling's does the little things for its employees and customers. The little things are the things people seem to miss these days it is nice to know there are still people that remember these things. In our world of hustle and bustle Darling's Auto, still stops to remember the small details of caring and community pride that bring people together. In the end, the little things will lead to big things, and big changes in people's lives. Feel free to reach out to me anytime.

  • Brittany Stanley

My story began in Virginia and Maryland but eventually brought me to Maine where I have been now for the last 12 years. My career has led me to many fields with one thing staying consistent, customer service. I have worked in bookkeeping, accounting, banking, the food service industry, administrative assistant, and even a Notary Public.

All of these experiences opened the door for me to become a Customer Care Representative at Darling's in 2017. When I am not caring for our customers here at Darling's, I am caring for my four children, three boys and one girl. We spend most of our time at home playing, running to different events, or cuddling up having a movie night.  When I have free time I can usually be found with friends shooting some pool, playing some cribbage, taking photos, and when the weather is warm enjoying the outdoors.

I am proud to call Darling's my second home. Everyone cares for each other at this company, just like family. In the same way, I enjoy sharing this sense of caring for my customers as I do my own family. Please feel free to contact me anytime.

  • Rebecca Campbell
    Customer Care

I love providing the best customer experience to my customers. I gained a wealth of knowledge in the customer care field. My work within the up and coming internet department gave me great skills at online customer care. Eventually this experience led me becoming an online Customer Care Representative within the auto industry.

After thirteen years in this industry I found the perfect job closer to home in customer care at Darling's in Ellsworth. When I'm not focused on the best customer experience I enjoy my time with my wonderful husband. We enjoy the little things like relaxing at home, motorcycling, walking or hiking.

I must admit, I love my job. Darling's has a down home family atmosphere with a vision of giving the best customer experience. The experience is based on a shared vision of wanting the best for every customer. It is this experience that I am proud to share with my customer experience. If you have any questions about vehicles feel free to submit an online inquiry or give me a call directly anytime.

Morrison's Chevrolet hired me in 2002 as an Administrative and Finance Assistant. I became a full time Administrative Assistant at Darling's Chevrolet in 2012.

My family has changed since moving to the states, but one thing stayed the same, a love for Maine. I now live in Hudson with my husband. I am a proud Military Veteran. Home for me changed constantly from Pennsylvania, to Florida and everywhere in between. My experience has included construction, sub-contracting and mainte-nance. One experience I missed was working on cars as I did growing up. In 2018, I needed a career change and began working at Darling's as a Team Service Manager.

Outside Darling's I am a proud member of the National Guard, continuing my service for this coun-try.  At home, I enjoy my time with little family, my amazing wife, five children and four cats. When I am not with my family, I enjoy woodworking, cars and metal detecting at Dedham Bald Mountain. I am also a proud supporter of the Heroes, Hope and Healing Golf Tournament.

I am proud to be able to share my knowledge of cars with our customers. Though I am not able to work on vehicles, I am still able to help service customers. I have been a car guy since the beginning, growing up in Skowhegan, Maine. After graduating, I at-tended Eastern Maine Technical College for Automotive Technology. Morrison's Chevrolet gave me a chance hiring me as an Automotive Tech. I put my tech skills to work in the front end in 2007 as a Team Service Manager.

Outside of work, I spend time at home or enjoying the outdoors. My wonderful wife Theresa, two boys, one dog and two cats enjoy the home life in Bucksport. Our outdoor adventures consist of hik-ing, 4 wheeling and more. I also love Hunting and Fishing at my secret Maine location.

At work I am always smiling, I think it has something to do with the great company and customers. Bringing a vehicle in for service can be an anxious experience, especially if you do not know what is going on with your vehicle.  I take great pride in making sure every vehicle is treated like my own, ensuring no details are missed. • Matt Rowe
    Lead Counter Person

I have been a motor head since the beginning growing up in Brewer, Maine. My work has lead me to every aspect of gears from sales to service to parts.  Prior to working at a car dealership, I worked parts and sales at Friend & Friend. I began in 1998 at Morrison's Chevrolet dealership.

Darling's is my home now and I love working with all the gears and parts galore as Lead Counter Person.  Eddington is my home now where I enjoy my time with my Suzuki motorcycle and volun-teering with both the local Shriners and Masons.

I am most happy when I am on the backroads with my motorcycle or spending time with my work family. I'm lucky to have an incredible team who inspires me every day. Darling's cares about my motor head obsessions, and me. This is what I give back to my customers each day. Feel free to stop by anytime to talk motors, parts and more.

  • Nick Grant
    Parts Advisor

Engines and parts have always been a lifelong love. I grew up in Columbia Falls, Maine where I learned the engine world at Hancock County Technical School, studying Automotive Technology. Since then I have worked in Parts for various businesses in the Ellsworth area. I am lucky to have joined Darling's in 2017 putting my parts knowledge to good use with the great team at Chevy.

My world turned upside down in the best way in September of 2017 when my wife had twins! My wife Stacey and I could not be happier to have Landen and Elizabeth in our lives, but are still waiting to catch up on some sleep. We live in Sullivan near Flanders pond and can often be found staying close to home with the family. When I do have some free time I'm most often found working on ve-hicles in the garage or making our yard look nice.  Before the kids, I also enjoyed ATVing. Perhaps someday I will get back on the ATV trails.

People that care is not heard very often in the Auto Industry. At Darling's I have found the most car-ing people, I have ever met. It is a bit cheesy, but at Darling's they know you by name, and that is special. My job is to help customers put their vehicles back together as soon as possible, with the correct parts. If I do not already know you by name feel free to give me a call and talk parts.
